Brow PMU Pre-Care Instructions

To ensure the best possible results, please take a moment to review and follow these important steps before your appointment:

48-72 Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements, such as ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDs, vitamin E, fish oil, or similar products—unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • Please do not smoke any substances during this time, as it can impact healing and pigment retention.

24 Hours Before

  • Refrain from exercise or intense physical activity.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol or caffeine—these can increase bleeding and swelling during the procedure and may affect the final results.

On Appointment Day

  • Feel free to come in with makeup if you'd like to show us your usual brow shape or desired color.
  • Don't worry—we will complete precise brow mapping and measurements to design a shape that perfectly suits your facial structure.

Following these pre-care steps helps ensure a smoother procedure and longer-lasting results. If you have any questions or medical concerns, please reach out before your appointment—we're here to help!

Brow PMU Aftercare Instructions

For Best Results & Healthy Healing

Your brows will go through a healing process that typically lasts 7 to 15 days. Everyone heals a little differently, so it's important to follow these aftercare steps carefully.

Day 1 – Immediate Aftercare

  • Gently blot your brows with a clean tissue or cotton swab to remove excess fluid.
  • Clean the area using a water wipe or a cotton pad dampened with distilled water.
  • Apply the provided ointment 2–3 times a day using clean fingers or a cotton swab.

Daily Care (Until Brows Fully Peel – approx. 7–12 days)

  • Keep brows dry — avoid direct water exposure (especially during showers).
  • Clean brows gently once or twice a day using distilled water or water wipes, then reapply ointment.
  • Do not rub, pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin — this may lead to pigment loss or scarring.
  • During showers, tilt your head back to keep brows dry.

Avoid for 2 Weeks

  • No exercise (sweat can affect pigment retention).
  • No Retin-A, AHAs, glycolic acid, or anti-aging products on or near the brow area.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.
  • No brow makeup or facial treatments until brows have completely peeled.
  • Stay away from pools, hot tubs, saunas, and the ocean.
  • No waxing, peeling, or laser treatments near the brows.
